The story of Amigas mias
Hi Amiga,
My name is Juul, owner and founder of Amigas Mias. The idea of starting Amigas Mias came during my six months of study abroad in Medellín, Colombia. In this beautiful city I did not only fell in love with their passionate culture and way of life, but also with the way it expresses in the designs, styles and colors of their handmade products. Amigas Mias wants to bring you two things: these beautiful little pieces of art, and the Latin way of wearing a bikini: extremely confident. Because, even though the bodies of the Colombian women were not perfect, they felt perfect in it. This is what I want to bring to Europe, a message to all women: be perfectly imperfect.
With this in mind, all photos are taken with an amiga, not models. The normal but beautiful body needs to be shown and to be proud of.
